We read in our Constitutions:
1. Our Congregation is especially called to participate in the missionary service of the Church. Conscious of being sent by the Lord to bring the Good News of salvation to all strata of humanity, we seek to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and communion with the Loving Father.
2. In carrying out our mission, we serve especially where the Gospel is not yet proclaimed or where it is not sufficiently known. We help to build up and strengthen Christian communities. In areas where people have become indifferent, we participate in the task of reevangelization. Whatever be our task, we cooperate in the liberation and integral development of the whole person.
3. The love of Christ impels us, above all, to solidarity with the poor and the oppressed and to have an open heart for their needs. In the spirit of the Gospel we try to lead them to an understanding of their situation, to make them aware of their human dignity and help them live in Christian hope. In the privileged we try to awaken a sense for justice and social responsibility. Thus we contribute to the gradual creation of a more just and humane society.
